I felt like my heart stopped when I came across these color photographs from the 1920s and 1930s (via my friend Julie who posted them on Facebook.) (I suppose technicolor is a total misnomer but I like the assonance of "technicolor 20s.") Seeing images from this era in color makes them seem so much more recently captured.

Wow, those are awesome. I particularly like the little camping scene one, where the couple are holding a stick with a wiener on it and it looks like she's about to feed him a bite. Super cute!
