... I'm rather certain belongs to my friend Carly. She has a spacious bedroom and private bath all to herself. I'm especially keen on the closet system she built against one of her walls.
Carly also has chickens! They're lucky birds, getting to live in such a spacious coop (which Carly also built.) Her yard has a hammock, teepee, two picnic tables, a barbeque and probably even more wonderful things which I failed to notice because my attention happened to be focused entirely on Dreamweaver (reddish brown hen pictured below.) Total backyard paradise.
Dreamweaver sweetly let us pet her; her feathers are so soft! It was a treat because even though I grew up with birds flapping and squawking around my house, they were usually very reticent when it came to letting us touch their feathers. Dave and I have a pre-existing, uninhabited chicken coop at our house (though not nearly as nice as Carly's) and I'm certainly inspired at the possibility of keeping a few hens.
